Welcome Back RWA Families

Dear RWA Families,

Welcome back, Rollingwood Academy students and families! As we embark on the exciting journey of the 2023/2024 school year, we extend our warmest greetings. It's a time for new beginnings, fresh opportunities, and continued growth. Get ready for a year filled with learning, creativity, and unforgettable experiences. Let's make it remarkable together!

Important Dates

  • September 19th 5:30-7pm Open House Button Willow, Little Bluestem 2’s and 3’s (Parent only event) Your child’s teachers will go over the daily schedule, curriculum, classroom expectations, and important information.

  • September 21st 5:30-7pm Open House Southern Sundrop and Honeysuckle (Parent only event). Your child’s teachers will go over the daily schedule, curriculums, classroom expectations, and important information.

  • September 29th Spirit/Pizza Day- We will be having pizza on this day. Please remember to just pack a labeled am/pm snack and students may wear their RWA t-shirt!

  • October 2nd Assessments begin. More information regarding assessments will be discussed at Open House.

  • October 17th & 18th Student Picture Day- More information to come in October’s Newsletters. * Please stay tuned for your child’s assigned day!

  • October 23rd Pumpkin Patch Field Trip to Bergey’s Bread Basket 9:30 bus departure (Little Bluestems 3, Southern Sundrops, and Honeysuckle Classes) (Parents are invited to attend)(More information to come home).

  • October 27th 11:30am Book Character Parade

    • Parents are invited to this event from 11:30am-1pm! More details to come in the October Newsletter!

  • November 1st- Parent-Teacher Conferences. Parent-teacher sign-ups will be posted on Class Dojo.

 Reminders

  • Please label EVERYTHING (backpack, lunchbox, snack, water-bottles, jackets). Often times children do not know what is theres or children will have the same/similar belongings. The teachers greatly appreciate your help with this as it makes things run much smoother!

  • Missing paperwork from your child’s file must be turned into the office as soon as possible.

    • This includes the signed parent handbook form, medical health form, immunization record, a copy of your child’s birth certificate, signed admission agreement, and a complete registration form. We will be sending notices out for any missing paperwork next week.

  • Tuition for Installment 2 is due no later than Thursday, September 15th. Payments made after the 20th will be charged a $25.00 late fee on their next month’s installment.

  • Illness

    • Please notify the school when your child is sick. Any child with a fever must be fever free for 24 hours before returning back to school.

  • Gate Duty

    • When picking up your child please say your child’s name as we are learning many new faces! Also, to keep the line moving we ask that you pull your car all the way up before getting out of the car to retrieve your child from staff. If you plan to walk all the way up to the door, we ask that you park in the parking lot or street to pick up your child. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE GATE DUTY LINE

  • Class Dojo

    • All class dojo invites have been sent! Please check your junk/spam mail if you have not seen the invite. If you need another invitation sent please contact administration.

We appreciate your patience and mindfulness with the first few weeks of school, as it is an adjustment for all! We look forward to a great year with your child!
