Leaping into 2020

            Happy New Year! Welcome back from Winter Break! We are so happy to see all of our students return back to school with smiling little faces. We are looking forward to a fun start to 2020 and we are excited to continue to see the success of our students through the year.

Thank you to all who donated to the Nobleman Toy Drive! It was a huge success and greatly appreciated.

Re-enrollment

We can’t believe we are already looking forward to the 2020-2021 school year! Re-enrollment will be sent home in your child’s folder in the next coming weeks so please keep an eye out for it. Please return the form, along with a non-refundable check for $370.00 by February 14, 2020. The fee includes a Rollingwood Academy short-sleeve t-shirt. Rollingwood Academy will not reserve a space for a child without payment and recommendation by the child’s teacher.

Open House  

Spread the word! We are hosting an Open House on February 6th, 2020 from 4:30-6:30pm. This is open to the public for anyone who is interested in learning more about our programs at Rollingwood Academy and current families who want to learn more about their child’s next classroom.

Volunteers

            We are looking for 5 parent volunteers in the classrooms on January 15th from 1-2pm. Please let administration know if you are available to help. Thank you in advance for your assistance! We greatly appreciate it.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day- January 20th School Closed

Virginia Living Museum January 24th

          The Virginia Living Museum is visiting our school for an in-house field trip on January 24th.  They will be presenting A Walk in the Woods program and will be bringing live animals for our students to see and touch!

Assessments

            Teachers have started assessments in their classrooms and these will be sent home January 31st. Conferences will not be held this semester, however if you have any questions or concerns please reach out to your child’s teacher to schedule a conference.

Spirit/Pizza Day January 31st

            *Remember to wear your Rollingwood T-Shirt and only pack snacks.
